According to the traditional method of folk art of Uttarakhand, by applying a paste of cow dung and cow urine on a cotton cloth, ocher soil has been applied on it and the solution which is formed by grinding rice has been done. Hand-made natural colors have been used in this. Importance of cow urine:- Cow urine is considered very important in the scriptures. Cow urine is used to remove negative energy and object defects and to remove obstacles in auspicious works. Importance of indigenous cow dung: - According to Vastu Shastra, cow dung is considered very sacred and effective. Due to this, all the negative forces of the house go out and positive energy keeps on transmitting. Importance of Ogre Clay :- Used for ritualistic purposes and for depicting religious idols and structures Importance of Rice: is. Rice is considered to be the best in food. Akshat is considered a symbol of pure and completeness. Without rice, the worship of any deity is not complete, rice is considered as the purest grain because it is inside the paddy and animals and birds cannot eat it. Rice is used in worship to attract power, prosperity and peace. Many measures related to rice are also taken. Maa Lakshmi and mother Annapurna are pleased by using rice.

उत्तरखंड की लोककला के परम्परागात विधि से सूती वस्त्र पर गाय के गोबर व गौ मूत्र के लेप लगाकर उसपर गेरू मिट्टी का लेप किया गया है व चावल को पीस कर जो घोल (विस्वार)बनता है उससे ऐपण किया गया है। इसमें हाथ से बने नेचुरल रंगों का प्रयोग किया गया है।

गौ मूत्र का महत्व :-

शास्त्र में गाय के गोमूत्र को बहुत महत्वपूर्ण माना जाता है. गौमूत्र को नकारात्मक ऊर्जा व वस्तुदोष को दूर करने और शुभ कामों में बाधाओं को दूर करने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है.

देशी गाय का गोबर का महत्व :-

वास्तु शास्त्र के अनुसार, गोबर के अत्यंत पवित्र और प्रभावशाली माना जाता है। इससे घर के सारी नकारात्मक शक्तियां बाहर चली जाती हैं और सकारात्मक ऊर्जा का संचार होता रहता है।

गेरू मिट्टी का महत्व :-

अनुष्ठानिक प्रयोजनों में और धार्मिक मूर्तियों और संरचनाओं को चित्रित करने के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है

चावल का महत्व :-

अक्षत का अर्थ होता है जो टूटा न हो, इसलिए यह एकाग्रता का भी सूचक है।हिंदू धर्म में पूजा में चावल यानी अक्षत का इस्तेमाल करना बहुत शुभ माना जाता है. चावल को अन्न में सबसे श्रेष्ठ माना गया है. अक्षत को शुद्ध और सम्पूर्णता का प्रतीक माना जाता है. चावल के बिना किसी भी देवी-देवता की पूजा पूरी नहीं होती,

चावल को सबसे शुद्ध अनाज माना जाता है क्योंकि यह धान के अंदर होता है और इसे पशु-पक्षी नहीं खा पाते.

चावल का उपयोग पूजा में शक्ति, समृद्धि और शांति को आकर्षित करने के लिए किया जाता है। चावल से जुड़े कई उपाय भी किए जाते हैं। चावल का इस्तेमाल करने से मां लक्ष्मी और मां अन्नपूर्णा प्रसन्न होती हैं.
